It is my proud privilege to offer a warm welcome to all the aspirants of graduation, post-graduation and PhD to this prestigious college of nationwide branded KLE Society, Belagavi. The academic fraternity of S. Nijalingappa College, Bengaluru strive to build a dynamic community of learners and teachers. We invest the knowledge and skills in the younger generations to instil in them to become the best human being and resourceful and responsible citizen of India.

The College established in the year 1963, an institution with a tradition of excellence and setting the bench mark in higher education. College is permanently affiliated to Bengaluru City university and recognised by UGC under 2(f) and 12 B. We offer UG, PG, PhD and short-term courses to full fill the needs of stakeholders. We mould the students for global competence for employability and entrepreneurship. We focus and evaluate the students on the basis of physical, mental, social, emotional and intellectual abilities. We work in team to give a holistic and scholastic learning system to the student community.

Our state-of-art infrastructure, student supporting facilities and time bonded activities provide a dynamic platform to the students to enhance the learning ability and the leadership qualities and face the challenges. Being an affiliated college offers need based short term skill-oriented certificate and value-added courses to meet the global challenges and acquire the competency to crack the competitive examinations. Innovative pedagogy and mentor-mentee system develop the confidence and determination among the students. IQAC and the research cell initiate to organize international, national and state level events like conferences, seminars, workshops and hand on trainings to share the quality bench marks and research findings which helps to nurture and inculcate research culture.

College has awarded with “A + ” grade in all the previous cycles of NAAC accreditation and awarded by UGC college with potential for excellence. In 2019 the college has been awarded with 45 lakhs of UGC STRIDE Component-I grant for transdisciplinary research and human resource development.

Our innovative and creative teachers provide an excellent opportunity to the students to explore their hidden talents and develop the platform to show their co-curricular and extra-curricular potentials by organising inter collegiate trade fairs, fests and exhibitions. Institute organise various activities by inviting the eminent personalities from all walks of life to address and interact with our students and expose them to new ideas and thoughts. Within the significant six decades of existence, S. Nijalingappa College has placed itself prominently in the educational map of Karnataka in various ratings. Continuous university ranks, university blue and placement records are the evident to state that the college with the tradition of excellence and attain the outcomes of the programs.
