The Placement cell in the college was established in the year 2002 and since then the cell has helped Thousands of students in getting jobs. The cell primarily has three objectives viz. placement, training and counseling.The college Placement Cell is registered with more than 185 companies of all over India. The academic excellence at KLE’s S.Nijalingappa College is reflected in its student’s exemplary record in placements in the corporate sectors. The department of Training & Placement is the backbone of any institute. It has consistently maintained an excellent recruitment record. The graduates of KLE’s S.Nijalingappa College have been recruited by some of the leading Indian companies.
Scope and Need of Placement CellThe aim of Placement cell is to bring the student and industrial community together to a mutually desirable employment relationship and to provide necessary guidance and information to the students in shaping the future career and keeps up to date with employment trends and options to ensure quality advice to students. The cell is headed by a Placement Officer. For placements the cell undertakes various activities like arranging campus interviews, communicating with enterprisers for job openings, organizing placement lectures, arranging referral interviews for students. The cell has the entire database of the STUDENTS PROFILE of the current year as well as the alumnae.
There are numerous practice group discussions held so that the students get to know the essential talents and criteria for successfully getting past the group discussions. Workshops are arranged in the areas of corporate interviews. This helps students to be gallant in all the minute details to come out in flying colors in any campus drive. Apart from this, each individual’s strength and weakness are identified and they are counseled to encourage their strengths and overcome their weakness. A lot dedication is offered from the Placement cell to tap out the immense potential in all students.

Placement Cell is conducted 30 seminar, workshop & guest lecture on the topic of Leadership quality, Career after graduation, Resume Building, Softskill, Group discussion, Technical writing, Personality Development, Corporate interview, Mock Aptitude, Interview skill, Opportunity in Banking sector, Selling skill , English for business etc . This helps students to be gallant in all the minute details to come out in flying colors. The college has a health Center with Medical Officer, Dr.Gowri.K who is available in the centre during college working hours.

SPORTS
Students are provided all facilities to participate actively in the sports and games. Coaching for the students in various games under the supervision of eminent Physical Education Director is being arranged. The college has a big playground for outdoor games like cricket, football and volley ball. Indoor sports like Chess, Table tennis, Carom etc. are equally encouraged. The sports department of the college has been organizing inter-collegiate tournaments in Basketball, Volleyball, Cricket, Kabbadi and football. Every year several students from the college are representing Bangalore University in various disciplines of sports.MULTI-GYM
Our college has established gym with all modern facilities. Gym is properly maintained by the Physical Education Department. Well equipped Multi-Gym for boys, girls and Ladies staff is maintained separately. Well trained Gym Instructor involved in exercise prescription and instruction. It is a fully accessible, state of the art facility with a complete range of exercise equipment, including treadmills, recumbent bicycles, upright bicycles, elliptical cross, weight circuit equipment and free weights. The fitness center is designed as a safe and hygienic work out environment.The college has counseling cell that offers students a confidential space in which they can talk to a counselor about their concerns. It further offers a feeling of being listened to, valued and accepted in a non-judgmental way.
Counselors at KLE SNC are available for any student experiencing emotional or psychological difficulties relating to academic or social problems.
