About Department of Chemistry
Establishment of the Department: 1963.
“Chemistry, Our Life, Our future”
The Department of Chemistry has its existence from the inception of the Institute. The department plays an important role in transforming students as per the needs of Research, Industries and Education professionals.
The Department provides quality education in Chemistry under UG, PG and Certificate/value-added courses to extent their Employability. The Department is well equipped to support quality teaching and research activities. Department has highly qualified faculty members to enrich students future and to conduct research in foremost areas of Chemistry. Research work of faculty members is supported by the UGC and college forum. Faculty and students have published many research articles, books in International and National peer reviewed journals with high impact factor. The Chemistry Department has established MoU with various institutes and industries for academic and research purpose to enhance the students’ knowledge.
The academic atmosphere at chemistry department is a rare blend of modern-day technical skills and the traditional significance on imparting knowledge. The students who have qualified from the department have developed initiative qualities and made the college proud through their outstanding achievements in the fields of chemistry.

About Department of Chemistry
Establishment of the Department: 1963.“Chemistry, Our Life, Our future”
The Department of Chemistry has its existence from the inception of the Institute. The department plays an important role in transforming students as per the needs of Research, Industries and Education professionals.The Department provides quality education in Chemistry under UG, PG and Certificate/value-added courses to extent their Employability. The Department is well equipped to support quality teaching and research activities. Department has highly qualified faculty members to enrich students future and to conduct research in foremost areas of Chemistry. Research work of faculty members is supported by the UGC and college forum. Faculty and students have published many research articles, books in International and National peer reviewed journals with high impact factor. The Chemistry Department has established MoU with various institutes and industries for academic and research purpose to enhance the students’ knowledge.The academic atmosphere at chemistry department is a rare blend of modern-day technical skills and the traditional significance on imparting knowledge. The students who have qualified from the department have developed initiative qualities and made the college proud through their outstanding achievements in the fields of chemistry.Objectives of the Department:
